This is the first entry that I did in my altered book. A lot of this was actually on accident because initally I wanted to do a scratch board effect but that totally failed. So i just scraped away the rest of the paint and pasted images on top. I like the way the background came out in the end though.
This really comes together after photographing it and posting. The black and white contour lines really help to unite the two very different textures.

ReplyDeleteWow, I really am in love with this, Meredith. You really did an awesome job. I really like the way you chose to keep some elements stark white while chose the other elements to be bright and alive with warm colors. It really makes your composition pop out. Great work.
