Cathedral Study

This is one of the pieces I made over the summer. I had the most fun doing this piece because I really enjoyed re-creating the subject. I'm looking to do architecture in the future, and the photograph of this cathedral sparked my interest because it protrayed such an interesting architecture structure. I used charcoal and a blue prisma color.

  1. So i have to say this piece is amazing! Your line quality is really nice and i really like the blue accent. Like we said at the critique, i might add more to the fountain. I'm jealous!

  2. This is great Mere! I love the blue you put in there. It really makes the water and the banister...(i can't see what the other blue thing is) but whatever it is, it realy pops! And draws my attention! I think this is great, and all the lines, like Becca stated, is really nice!
