Shipwreck

I used charcoal and watercolor in this piece, and I experimented with a new erasure technique. I wanted to show the movement of a small boat through the ocean. I think that the picture came out well overall, but I think I could have picked a better boat. The boat I drew from obsevation was not very detailed, it was very simple and I think that the piece would have been stronger with a more intense boat. I like the colors though :)

  1. I noticed in your header for your blog page that you do not yet have a concentration. This and the previous post are about the sea. What if your concentration was about water and the way it influences us?
